Below you’ll find everything you need to know about connecting your account, which accounts are eligible and what to expect once you start trading.
🔗 How do I connect my account to TradingView?
Here’s the step-by-step journey:
Register with Fintokei.
Create a cTrader account in your client zone (this can be a Free Trial, Challenge Phase or Virtually Funded account).
In My.Fintokei, click the “Connect” button with the TradingView logo.
4. You’ll be redirected to the TradingView chart page.
5. In TradingView
On the desktop, open the Trading Panel, select Purple Trading, and click Connect.
In TradingView IOS app, click on ,,options” icon in the chart window and then click on ,,Trade with your Broker” button, select Purple Trading, and click Connect. If you are unable to find Purple Trading in the Trading Panel this could be due to regional settings and we recommend visiting tradingview.com on your desktop, Open the Trading Panel, select Purple Trading, add it to your favorites and simply restart the IOS App.
In TradingView Android app, click on “Options” (three dots) icon in chart window and then click on “Trade with your broker” button, select Purple Trading and click Connect. If you are unable to find Purple Trading in the Trading Panel this could be due to regional settings and we recommend visiting tradingview.com on your desktop, open the Trading Panel, select Purple Trading, add it to your favorites and simply restart the Android App..
6. You’ll be redirected to a secure Authentication page. Enter the email you used for registration.
7. Check your inbox for a 6-digit code, enter it, and confirm.
If your email is linked to only one entity, you’ll immediately see your cTrader accounts with the “Sync to TradingView” option.
8. Click “Connect to TradingView” — and you’re ready to trade directly in TradingView!
✅ Which accounts are eligible?
You can connect only cTrader platform accounts in any of the following phases:
Free Trial accounts
Challenge Phase accounts
Virtually Funded accounts
❌ MT4 or MT5 accounts are not supported in TradingView.
💡 Note: All your currently active cTrader accounts are fully operational and ready to connect to TradingView. There’s no need to purchase new accounts just for this feature.
📊 Which instruments can I trade in TradingView?
All instruments available in your cTrader account can be traded in TradingView.
To recognize your account type, look for the instrument ticker suffix:
Challenge Phase accounts and Free Trial accounts → Instruments have the suffix “_P” (example: EURUSD_P).
Virtually Funded accounts → Instruments have the suffix “.” (example: EURUSD.).
⚠️ Important limitations and information
The Trailing Stop functionality is currently not supported when placing orders in TradingView. If you use trailing stops in your strategy, please manage them directly in cTrader
If you are unable to find Purple Trading in the Trading Panel this could be due to regional settings and we recommend visiting tradingview.com on your desktop, Open the Trading Panel, select Purple Trading, add it to your favorites and simply restart the IOS or Android App.
If your account was removed from TradingView or you cannot see the account, it could mean either the account breached the rules and has been disabled, or the Daily Loss Cap / Daily Profit Cap was activated, or the Profit target was hit, moving the account to read-only status.. When the read-only status is lifted, the account will automatically reappear, and you can continue trading via TradingView.
💡Having trouble using TradingView?
If you experience any technical issues or need help with the TradingView platform itself (charts, settings, placing orders, etc.), please note that this part is fully managed by TradingView.
