What is the ASK/BID price and Spread?

In any trading, you need to know about the BID and ASK price. The ASK and BID price display is used for this purpose.

ASK:

The offering price on the market for which the buying positions are executed and selling positions are closed. It is higher than BID price and is not shown historically in the chart by default. This price must be enabled in trading platform.

Press F8 on the PC and tick "Show Ask line" (mobile phone below).

BID:

Bidding price on the market for which the selling positions are executed and buying positions are closed. It is lower than ASK price and the chart displayed in trading platforms is based on this price.

Spread:

The difference between ASK price and BID price.

The spread is floating and constantly changes depending on market conditions, volatility and liquidity. In times of low market liquidity and when macroeconomic news is announced, the spread is wider compared to average values.
